Charlotte is a self taught, multi-disciplinary artist based in Boston, MA. She has been creating sculpture, clothing, and costume design since 2009. She began her career as an oil painter, and crafting upcycled clothing, then turning into avant guard sculptures on canvas. Her upcycled work was well-received and bloomed into costume design, masks, and a small handmade clothing brand. In order to properly deliver context of the work, it expanded into photography, styling, creative directing and and video.
Andromia, her clothing brand, was birthed in 2015 in order to share her visionary sculptural and mythological ideas through a unified fashion design label. Andromia began as a structural clothing label and accessory brand for ritual objects, chest, and headpieces. Her clothing has become a source for music videos and photography of other artist. Her creations have a particular attention to detail, materiality and texture. Andromia is very focused on innovative form designs juxtaposed with new sculptural methods, and natural and plush materials. Charlotte's influences are sourced from high fashion, psychology, mythology, folklore, and lucid dreamwork.
